The Vaisala HUMICAP® HMP3 humidity and temperature probe is ideal for general applications with moderate humidity and temperature conditions. Thanks to its probe design with tool-free sensor replacement, it is especially suitable for applications where regular maintenance or recalibration is required.
Typical applications include industrial HVAC systems, paint booths, cleanrooms, climate chambers, and industrial process environments. The probe provides humidity measurement accuracy up to ±0.8 %RH and temperature accuracy up to ±0.1 °C.
The HMP3 is part of the Vaisala Indigo family and is compatible with the Indigo200 and Indigo500 transmitter series. When used with the Vaisala Insight PC software, it allows easy data visualization, probe configuration, and field calibration.
Technical Specification
The HMP3 offers a temperature measurement range from −40 to +120 °C as well as high-precision humidity measurement up to ±0.8 %RH and temperature accuracy up to ±0.1 °C.
The probe is fully compatible with the Vaisala Indigo transmitter series and supports Modbus RTU via RS-485 for flexible integration into industrial systems.
The probe comes standard with a PPS plastic grid filter with stainless steel mesh to ensure reliable sensor protection. The device is also supplied with a traceable calibration certificate.
