KATflow 170

Explosion-proof ultrasonic flow meter

Product Description

RESISTANT. ECONOMICALLY. EFFECTIVE.

For applications under extreme environmental conditions that require a particularly robust device, the corrosion-resistant KATflow 170 is the optimal measuring instrument as part of a completely Ex-certified system. The flow meter, specially developed for permanent use in potentially explosive areas of Zones 1 and 2, offers the user an economical alternative for a number of different measurement applications. The KATflow 170 shows that even complex technical requirements can be based on simple solutions.

The KATflow 170 is available - depending on requirements - in two different explosion-proof housing versions: in an epoxy-coated, copper-free aluminum version or as a particularly robust stainless steel version, in accordance with the high demands of the offshore industry. The keypad, shielded by a glass front, is operated from the outside using a magnetic pen. This makes the device very easy and, above all, safe to handle. The resistance of the flow meter is further enhanced by the associated encapsulated IP 68 sensors, which are made of stainless steel and equipped with extremely durable cable material.

Dual flow monitoring with calculation functions sum, difference, average and maximum value
High-quality IP 68 sensors made of stainless steel
Analog inputs for density, temperature and pressure compensation
Internal measured value memory for up to 100,000 measured values and software for data evaluation
Process output options including power, open collector, relay
